LOCATION

Sound River Studios is located at 4-40 44th Drive in Long Island City. The venue is right on the waterfront at the end of 44th Drive with a spectacular panoramic view of the Midtown skyline.

By car, we're five blocks south of the Queensboro Bridge and about ten blocks north of the Queens-Midtown Tunnel. Street parking is available on 44th Drive, Vernon Boulevard and side streets in the vicinity, or arrive by taxi or ride share service, less than 15 minutes from Midtown.

By subway, we're conveniently positioned between four stations: Court Square (E-M-7-G), Vernon-Jackson (7), Queens Plaza (E-M-R) and Queensboro Plaza (N-W-7). The nearest, Court Square on the E-M is only three blocks east on 44th Drive, about a 10-minute walk. As you exit the station toward the rear of the train at 21st Street and 44th Drive, walk straight ahead toward the river and the Manhattan skyline.

By ferry, we're just north of two NYC Ferry terminals providing year round service. The Long Island City/Gantry State Park Terminal (Astoria Line) is about a 6-minute walk, and the Hunters Point South Terminal (East River Line) is about a 15-minute walk.
